WORDPRESS BLOCKED IN PAKISTAN: A BAN ON FREEDOM OF SPEECH !

One of the saddest news, "Today Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has banned Famous Wordpress blogging platform."Why Pta has banned it ? No Authentic information is out there. But some claim it is because of national security. 
Is Pakistan trying to ban freedom of speech by blocking wordpress ? Is the government trying to out-date Pakistani's and take them in Stone age? Answers are yet complex and complicated.
